Added Facebook Integration

We have added Facebook integration to the blog site. Comments should cross post as should articles.

Please comment if you have experience any issues with this feature.

Added Features

To help facilitate discussion, and allow for more free forming ideas, we have re-enabled our comment system. We are using a thrid party for the comment system, and we think it will work out just fine.

If you have commented in the past, don’t worry, your comments are not gone, they are just not finished being imported yet.

For ou who wish to post anonymously, we have enabled that feature as well. We have employed spam filters as well as some content moderation, so keep your posts civil and clean.

I know, just like everyone else, right.  If you check out the right side of the screen, you will see a “follow me” button.  This will allow you to follow us via twitter as well.  In the future we will look at adding more options and ways to help you keep informed of political developments.  If you have any ideas or suggestions, you can either use the contact form linked to above, or feel free to register and leave a reply to this post.

Welcome to the new site

Yes, yes, I know, changing again.  At one time, a friend and I decided to start a site to discuss politics.  We used an old domain name I had available (http://www.nutznboltz-online.com).  Since that time, we felt the domain name did not match the topic at hand, so we have been talking about new site names and ideas.  Granted, we’re still not 100% sure how we want this site to look, but right now, I think we’re off to a pretty good start.

Right now, this is a political based blog and will hopefully eventually contain a forum for more open discourse.  We are taking things slowly though, and right now are hard at work on recruiting some others to assist us in our project.
